Nearly 50% of small business owners chose video conferences as the greatest technological innovation of the last 5 years. Why? Time & money constraints have decreased the number of opportunities for face to face meetings. But without visual contact, business owners admit that they will multi-task: checking emails, sports scores and conducting side conversations even though they know that these behaviors annoy the person holding the meeting.

“When you add the visual element to a meeting, you better connect with others and become even more productive,” said PGi CEO and Chairman Boland T. Jones. “A meeting isn’t just a business transaction; it’s an opportunity to establish trust. Technology doesn’t replace relationship building. Technology should support it.”
