Damn, awesome website. I actually came across this on Bing, and I am happy I did. I will definately be coming back here more often. Wish I could add to the conversation and bring a bit more to the table, but am just absorbing as much info as I can at the moment.

Thank You

Do you think there is a trick to advertising on Facebook? One thing that is good is the ads seem to be pretty well targeted in most cases.

Chook,

I do think there’s a trick. You must know exactly who you’re trying to reach and use Facebook’s targeting features. The click through rate is low – so the value is in branding your business to the people who are your ideal prospects.

when they say they will get you 50 clicks i assume they will do so but to get that they might have to send your ad to 10,000 people? do i have this right? and if so then there does not seem to be much value to it when there are only 83,000 in your target.

Richard,

I’m not sure I understand your question. Facebook doesn’t guarantee that they will get you a certain number of clicks. But, if you can have your ad seen by tens of thousands of people for just a handful of dollars, it makes sense to me. The ones who are interested will visit your page … it’s up to you to get the sale.
