Asset Based Thinking

by Julie Gallaher on May 3, 2010

I just got back from the wonderful SOBCon conference, hosted by Liz Strauss and Terry Starbucker. It was about internet marketing and social media, but so much more. Hank Wasiak, former Madison Avenue advertising guy, has written a couple books on Asset Based Thinking – a concept that I usually call looking for the sunshine. It’s all about perspective. He works with adults and teen/tweens and here’s their video.

Hi Julie,

I love your analogy of “looking for the sunshine”. Perspective is far more important than most realize. One of the benefits of blogs is the ability to show your readers different points of view.

Julie: Great to be with you at sobcon and thanks for your kind words. Looking for the sunshine is a great way to look at asset-based thinking. The glass can be half full and half empty…make the most of what’s in the glass….the sunshine. The teens and tweens that helped us make this video (and millions more like them) can brighten up anyone’s day. Thanks again.
